About PMC
Pakistan Montessori Council (PMC) serves as a Montessori consortium under which individuals and companies interested in Montessori training, Montessori schooling, and other Montessori-related activities mutually work for the promotion of Montessori education, advancing its widespread adoption and recognition in Pakistan.
As of September 2024, we are officially affiliated with the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). NAVTTC, established under the NAVTTC Act 2011, is the country’s highest government authority responsible for regulating technical and vocational training across Pakistan.
Note: It is important to mention that the word “COUNCIL” in Pakistan Montessori Council does not refer to its commonly assumed meaning in Pakistan, i.e., “Regulatory Authority,” but to its literal origins, where it refers to a group of equals who sit together to seek solutions to problems or to pursue the same cause. PMC is a private venture and is not to be confused with a government body.

Registered with NAVTTC
Pakistan Montessori Council (PMC) is now officially registered with NAVTTC – National Vocational & Technical Training Commission of Pakistan.
The Pakistan Montessori Council (PMC) is now sponsored and managed by a two companies collectively referred to as PMC’s Panel of Parent Organisations (PPPO), which include:
Montessori Pakistan (MP), registered under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (XLVII of 1984) with the Government of Pakistan, serves as the training division of PMC. Since its establishment in 2006, MP has trained over 100,000 individuals in Montessori education.
MP’s experts have developed international-standard Montessori training courses, featuring high-quality, illustrated training manuals complemented by:
— Hands-on (practical) training sessions (workshops)
— A state-of-the-art Online Learning Management System equipped with Montessori training videos, resources, and assessment tools (which is accessible both via web and mobile app)
These courses provide trainees with practical skills and competencies, along with hands-on workshops using scientific Montessori materials. MP’s programs are designed to be affordable and accessible from home, offering career opportunities in Montessori schools worldwide.
Montessori Pakistan is also officially registered with NAVTTC – National Vocational & Technical Training Commission of Pakistan.
Pakistan Montessori Concern, also registered under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, is responsible for manufacturing and supplying Montessori classroom materials to schools at affordable prices.
The company ensures that all Montessori materials meet international standards for durability, safety, and environmental sustainability. Its mission is to make high-quality Montessori resources accessible to promote education throughout Pakistan.
Additionally, the company is spearheading PMCKIDS, a chain of elite Montessori schools, further supporting PMC’s commitment to holistic Montessori education.
The other half of PMC’s network consists of hundreds of affiliated entities—schools and individuals—referred to as the Panel of Affiliated Individuals and Organisations (PAIO).
Together, PPPO and PAIO form the largest private consortium of Montessori-related entities in Pakistan, providing a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving in the Montessori education sector.
PMC is actively expanding its network and invites individuals, schools, and businesses to join in pursuit of Montessori excellence. Together, we can advance Montessori education and create a lasting impact across Pakistan.
